Introduction Course

Aimed at those with little or no pervious knowledge of computers the course will give the student a solid grasp of the computing basics identifying areas of future interest.

 

Word Processing

The courses cover the basics of word processing, producing documents and letters. Students will be able to practice creating their own documents in Microsoft Word.  Particular attention will be paid to the specific requirements of students. The intermediate course covers more advanced features of word processing, such as mail-merge, presentations & basic desk top publishing.

 

Spreadsheets

Basic spreadsheet techniques will be taught as well, as Students will be taught to create their own spreadsheets and also the uses to which spreadsheet can be put. Excel and Lotus123, the world's leading spreadsheet package will be used to teach students.

 

Accounting and Computers

The course will show students how to computerise accounts of a small to medium size business from producing invoices and statements to management reports, using the SAGE Sterling Accounting Software. The Financial Controller contains the following features: -

Sales Ledger, Purchase Ledger, Nominal Ledger, Stock Control, VAT Management, Invoicing, Order Processing, Management Information and finally Management Reports.

 

Business Courses

We train staff at their own location or at the school in Word Processing, Spreadsheets, Pay Roll and Accounts Software using SAGE and guide them to the point where they can work on their own without Supervision.
